Pre-corrections

Procedure and Deadlines:

• Applications for pre-correction must be submitted no later than one week before the respective exam date.
• Submission is made via email to Carolin Baumann.

Requirements:

• sufficiently justified application

Required information in the application:

• relevant exam date
• justification / reason for the pre-correction
• name of the applicant
• student ID number (matriculation number)

Post-corrections

Responsible: Carolin Baumann

Procedure and Deadlines:

• Applications for post-correction can only be submitted if prior inspection of the exam has taken place during the official dates set by the Examination Office. Inspection period (Winter Semester 2025/2026): 04/05/2026 – 08/05/2026 (in different groups, Kapellenstr. 13).
• The application for post-correction must be submitted within three weeks after the last opportunity to inspect the exam. Deadline for exams from Summer Semester 2025: 29/05/2026.
• Submission is made via email to Dominik Henkel.

Requirements:

• prior inspection of the exam
• sufficiently justified application
• a grade change must be within the realm of possibility

Required information in the application:

• affected exam
• precise criticism of the contested grading
• student ID number (matriculation number)
