The range of courses offered by the Faculty of Humanities is very diverse. You can choose between Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes, in which you can also integrate periods of study abroad, and many subjects can be studied as part of a teacher training programme. Typical of the courses offered by the faculty are multi-subject Bachelor's programmes, in which you combine different subjects according to your interests to create an individual study programme.
We have sorted our study programmes by subject to give you some orientation. If you have any questions, please contact the University's Central Student Advisory Service or the individual subject advisors.
Please note!
Most courses are taught in German. For enrollment and successful studies, you need good knowledge of German. If you have any questions, the subject advisory service is available to you.
Our International Office provides information for international students. Please clarify the entry and residence regulations that apply to your nationality in advance.

What does faith mean in a complex world full of possibilities and full of contradictions?
