Theresa Henn Receives the Outstanding Teaching Award 2023
After completing a Master's degree in Political Science with a focus on Computational Social Sciences, Theresa Henn joined the Chair of Information Systems and Social Networks, as a research assistant in June 2020. Over the past three years, she has supervised almost two dozen theses. She has now been awarded the Outstanding Teaching Award by the Faculty Council of the Faculty of Information Systems and Applied Computer Science. Theresa Henn's courses have received excellent ratings from her students. Her reflective approach to her students is well received by them.
Theresa Henn uses a blended learning approach that supplements classroom teaching with digital elements. This includes podcasts, brain teasers, gamification tools and other innovative approaches to practical teaching. Short videos enable asynchronous preparation and follow-up of the course. The Faculty of Information Systems and Applied Computer Science congratulates Theresa Henn on this special honour.
