Declarations according to the Doctoral Regulations § 9 (2) sentences 2, 4, and 5
Several declarations must be included at the end of the dissertation. These declarations can be found in Doctoral Regulations § 9(2), sentences 2, 4, and 5. Examples of these declarations are provided below. You may include them at the end of your dissertation.
Illustration of your own contribution to co-authored articles (PromO § 8 (4) sentences 4 and 5)
"Insofar as the cumulative dissertation includes work co-authored with others, the doctoral candidate must provide a qualitative account of their individual contribution. The accuracy of this statement must be confirmed by the co-authors with their signatures" (PromO § 8 (4) sentences 4 and 5).
This illustration could include the following aspects:
- Title of the article
- Publication status, name of the journal or anthology, if applicable
- Describe your own contribution and that of your co-authors for each aspect of your work, highlighting each individual contribution
- Names of co-authors with affiliation
- Date and signature of co-authors
Please note that you must specify this information separately for each jointly authored article.
