Meike Bauer

Since October 2024 Meike Bauer is a student assistant at the NLP group led by Prof. Dr. Roman Klinger. She is working on the EMCONA project supervised by Lynn Greschner, that investigates the interplay of emotions and convincingness in arguments. In particular, she is interested in the application and finetuning of Large Language Models for emotion analysis in text. She is also eager to learn about psychologic topics and theories. Currently she is studying Applied Computer Science in the Master's program at the University of Bamberg. At the same university she obtained her Bachelor's degree in Information Systems in 2023. Her Bachelor's thesis was about AI-Narratives in university and organizational contexts.
