Two papers presented at LREC-COLING 2024 in Turin.
We will be represented at the LREC-COLING next week with two papers.
- Eileen Wemmer, Sofie Labat, and Roman Klinger. Emoprogress: Cumulated emotion progression analysis in dreams and customer service dialogues. In Proceedings of the 2024 Joint International Conference on Computational Linguistics, Language Resources and Evaluation (LREC-COLING), Turin, Italy, 2024.
- Aswathy Velutharambath, Amelie Wührl, and Roman Klinger. Can factual statements be deceptive? the defabel corpus of belief-based deception. In Proceedings of the 2024 Joint International Conference on Computational Linguistics, Language Resources and Evaluation (LREC-COLING), Turin, Italy, 2024.
In the first paper, we present a text corpus in which we annotate emotions and situation evaluations in dream descriptions and customer service dialogs. This dataset supports the development of models that can not only read emotions from individual sentences but also map a person's current emotional state.
In the second paper, we present a dataset containing arguments to claims where authors of texts either believe in the claim themselves or do not. We will use these texts to develop systems that recognize whether a text is authentic or not.
