This bachelor’s degree programme in History can be studied part-time.
Studying part-time offers students with children, part-time jobs, disabilities or chronic illnesses in particular the opportunity to reduce their workload during the semester and, as a result, extend the duration of their studies.
For bachelor’s degree programmes in the Faculty of Humanities, the duration of study is extended from six semesters to 12 semesters. For master’s degree programmes, the duration of study is six or eight semesters instead of three or four. You do not need to provide any reasons to enrol in a part-time programme. You may also switch from a full-time model to a part-time model during any semester’s enrolment period. This reduces the workload in each semester by half.
Part-time studies are subject to the part-time study regulations (in German).
