Opening hours of the University Library

Due to a short-term staff shortage, Branch Library 3 will close at 8 pm on Friday, 21 February. Please use other branch libraries. We kindly ask for your understanding.

Carnival opening hours 2025

On Rose Monday, 03.03.2025, the regular opening hours will apply in all libraries.

On Shrove Tuesday, 04.03.2025:

  • Branch Library 3 will be open until 10:00 pm and Branch Library 4 will be open until midnight.
  • The ERBA library and Lernraum24 will be accessible around the clock with your chip card.
  • The Branch Libraries 1, 2 and 5 will close at noon.

Particularly in the evenings and on weekends, we employ back staff and therefore, cannot always provide all services at those times. During regular staffed hours, our trained library personnel will be happy to assist you. E-mails to the branch libraries are only read and answered within business hours.
