Research
The research group of Information Systems Management, led by Prof. Dr. Daniel Beimborn, focuses on research related to the management of information systems and the organizational challenges of digital innovation & transformation. The research group is part of the Faculty of Information Systems and Applied Computer Science at the University of Bamberg. The faculty is one of the longest standing and leading higher education institutions in research and teaching of Information Systems in Germany.
Our Vision: Shaping Managers for Digital Change
As research group, we make scientific contributions to innovation-oriented information systems management (ISM). Through our research, we produce relevant scientific insights and thus support organizations in shaping their digital innovation and transformation. We are well-known as experts for these topics in the international scientific community as well as in the corporate world. Through our teaching activities, we train people to become innovation-oriented and responsible designers of organizational information systems.
