Julian Weidinger

About the Person

Julian Weidinger was a research associate at the Chair of Business Informatics, specifically Industrial Information Systems, at the Otto-Friedrich University of Bamberg from June 2016 to August 2024. He also completed his Bachelor's and Master's degrees at the same institution. In his Bachelor's and Master's theses, he examined the current adoption and acceptance of information systems for fire departments. For his doctoral dissertation, he further investigated the acceptance factors for Emergency Response Information Systems.

Research Interests

Julian Weidinger's research centered on the examination of information systems utilized by fire departments. His research interests included identifying the factors that contribute to the acceptance of such systems, modeling in the area of disaster management, and the investigation of specific technologies within this field.
