In our function as Academic Equal Opportunity Officers, we would like to address all students, non-professorial academic staff and professors of the Faculty of Human Sciences and Education with our counselling and support services dealing with gender equity issues. We would also like to point out that our target group does not only include women, but persons of all gender identities and sexual orientations. We believe in the importance of reconsidering gender relations and giving gender equity and diversity issues more room in the organisational structures of the university and everyday university life.

• Representation of women’s* interests in various committees of the University of Bamberg
• Allocation of equity funds and financial support for research-related projects
• Counselling services for faculty members with regard to discrimination, sexual harassment, combining studies and family life, etc.
