Responsibilities

The Office of Examinations is responsible for managing all examinations at the University of Bamberg.

This specifically includes:

  • examination registration and deregistration
  • registration of final theses
  • admission to examinations
  •  the establishment of examination dates and scheduling of examination rooms
  • notification of examination results
  • production of final documents and degree certificates
  • and all other matters required for the organisation of examinations. 
  • handling applications for the postgraduate traineeship (Referendariat) for teaching in the Grundschule und Hauptschule

Section 2 is responsible for:

  • Diplom, bachelor’s and master’s degree programmes in the Faculty of Human Sciences and Education
  • Diplom, bachelor’s and master’s degree programmes in the Humanities Faculty

Section 3 – Teacher Training and Magister degree programmes, bachelor’s and master’s degree programmes in Vocational Education/Social Pedagogy and Social Services, master’s degree programme in Heritage Conservation, university of applied sciences degree p

Section 3 is responsible for:

  • Teacher training degree programmes
  • Magister degree programmes
  • Bachelor’s and master’s degree programmes in Vocational Education/Social Pedagogy and Social Services
  • Master’s degree programme in Heritage Conservation
  • Master’s degree programme in Digital Technologies in Heritage Conservation
  • University of applied sciences degree programme in Social Work
