Prof. Dr. Ulrich Sieberer - Vita
Ulrich Sieberer has served as professor for empirical political science at the University of Bamberg since 2016. Previously, he held various positions at the Universities of Konstanz and Mannheim and was visiting professor at the University of Vienna.
Ulrich Sieberer's research focuses is particularly interested in institutional change in parliaments and governments, political parties, legislative studies, coalition research, and judicial politics. Hehas authored a monograph (Parlamente als Wahlorgane, Nomos 2010) and various articles in (among others) the British Journal of Political Science, European Journal of Political Research, Legislative Studies Quarterly, Party Politics, West European Politics, Electoral Studies, Journal of Legislative Studies, European Political Science Review, German Politics, and Politische Vierteljahresschrift.
Since October 2020, Ulrich Sieberer is Director of the Bamberg Graduate School of Social Sciences (BAGSS). He also serves as deputy head of the Department of Political Science and deputy ombudsperson at the Leibniz Institute for Educational Trajectories (LIfBi).
