Student Assistant
Laureen Thurner has been working as a student assistant at the Chair of Information Systems, in particular Digital Work, since December 2022. She is currently starting her Master's degree in Business Informatics at the Otto Friedrich University of Bamberg, where she also successfully completed her Bachelor of Science in Business Informatics in March 2024.
During her studies, she was already able to gain valuable practical experience. She worked in IT security consulting in Switzerland, where she helped to improve cyber security measures for various clients.
In her current role as a student assistant, she is working with open source technologies, Git and employee handbooks in the tech sector, focusing on security and data protection. She also supports the creation and maintenance of internal documentation and the integration of secure and efficient working practices into digital working environments. She also provides support and helps with the student project. Her research focus and strengths lie in the area of knowledge management and organization. She is concerned with the structured management and optimization of knowledge resources to improve the efficiency and security of digital work environments.
