The study also took into account influencing factors at the individual level, such as personality and age, and at the contextual level, such as social interactions and commute. To this end, an online diary study was conducted in which participants from all over Germany answered questions every evening from Monday to Friday over a period of one month. | |
| “Memory Lapses in the Daily Lives of University Students: Nature, Correlates, and Consequences”, Argelander Starter-Kit Grant, Principal Investigator: Johanna Hartung, Duration: June 2022 - May 2024 | The aim of this project is to investigate the relationships between daily fluctuations in subjective memory problems and objective working memory performance with contextual factors (e.g., currently perceived stress), retrospectively recorded memory problems, academic success, and other interindividual differences among students. To this end, we collected experience-sampling data from 120 individuals aged 65 years and older. Starting in March 2020, the study was expanded to include a weekly survey on communication and well-being.
