Double Degrees

Our double degrees are degree programmes that are closely coordinated between the partner universities. Studying abroad is an integral part of a Bamberg degree programme. These programmes lead to several degrees within the standard period of study and also teach important skills such as language skills, flexibility and intercultural competence.

Participation in a double degree programme requires a separate application, but offers many advantages for students:

• As a rule, they know which partner university they will be spending their second year of study at before starting their degree programme in Bamberg.
• They do not have to worry about credit transfer.
• You can usually adapt the proposed programme to your interests.
• In most programmes, our International Office will take care of registration at the partner university for you.
• With many programmes, you will automatically receive an Erasmus scholarship.

You will recognise the advantages of studying at a smaller university, especially in the double degree programmes. We will support you throughout your studies and provide you with our own student advisors who have been familiar with the programmes for many years. You are also welcome to contact us in person, by telephone or by e-mail with any questions you may have during the application phase.
