Digitalisation of University Teaching: Professorship of Economics and Business Education at the DeGeval Spring Conference on May 29th-30th in Vienna

Under the title: The future of work – Evaluated today?

With the aim of designing higher education teaching and learning processes for the digital age, representatives from the University of Bamberg, the University of Duisburg-Essen and the FOM convened for a joint workshop in Vienna. In a presentation titled “The Phenomenon of Digital Transformation,” Professor Karl-Heinz Gerholz and Markus Dormann examined the question of how digital media can aid competence-oriented teaching programmes. On the basis of their current research endeavours, they demonstrated that the simulation potential of future student processes haven’t yet been realised.
