Transfer

Transfer of developed knowledge at the chair into practice takes place via different paths:

  • The chair maintains very close relationships with the Fraunhofer Institute for Integrated Circuits IIS in Erlangen and in Nuremberg. New knowledge flows directly to companies via funding and industrial projects.
  • In addition, there are a number of contacts and memberships with industrial associations. Research results can be disseminated in the context of studies or at conferences and lectures.
  • Furthermore, there are direct contacts and co-operations with companies from different industries. Knowledge is transferred through the supervision of Bachelor’s/ Master’s theses and PhD theses as well as through project work.
