Admission and Enrolment

The bachelor’s degree programme in Information Systems does not limit admissions. The general higher education entrance qualification or the appropriate subject-specific higher education entrance qualification is a formal requirement for admission. Further conditions for successful completion of the degree programme (which can, if necessary, be fulfilled parallel to regular studies) are good knowledge of German, English and mathematics. It is highly recommended that students complete an Information-Systems-relevant internship abroad or a study abroad programme during the course of their studies.

Students may begin their studies in both the winter and summer semesters. The structure of the programme has however primarily been designed around enrolment in the winter semester.

Enrolment procedures are handled by the University of Bamberg’s office of the registrar. Current enrolment deadlines can be found on the registrar’s office website.
