Christoph Brielmaier represents the University of Bamberg at this year’s Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting in Economic Sciences
The doctoral candidate and soon-to-be postdoc at the Chair of Strategy and Organization at the University of Bamberg, Christoph Brielmaier, has been selected to participate in one of the world’s most prestigious scientific conferences for young researchers – the Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting in Economic Sciences.
From August 25 to 30, 2025, he will join 22 Nobel Laureates in Economic Sciences and outstanding young researchers from around the world in Lindau to exchange ideas on current economic research and global challenges. Among the participants are last year’s laureate Simon H. Johnson or Nobel Prize winner Joseph Stiglitz, who has advised several U.S. presidents.
The Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings, established in 1951, provide a unique platform for dialogue between Nobel Laureates and young researchers. Different disciplines take center stage each year – in 2025, this will be Economic Sciences.
The program includes lectures, panel discussions, Laureate Lunches, Science Walks, and 1:1 meetings with Nobel Laureates. The Science Walks offer young researchers a special opportunity to accompany Nobel Laureates on an informal walk while engaging in discussions on scientific and personal topics. Additionally, the program includes exclusive 1:1 meetings, allowing participants to engage directly with Nobel Laureates.
We congratulate Christoph on this exceptional achievement and wish him inspiring encounters and valuable insights!
