Registration for Courses

You need to register as a participant of a class before the semester starts. Later in the semester, you will need to register again to receive ECTS credits for this class. Both registrations take place on FlexNow.

It is important for you to observe the respective time frame for the registration, because registration dates vary between the sections of the Department of English and American Studies.

You can correct your registration or de-register within the registration period. Once registration is closed, corrections will only be possible in exceptional cases. Some types of classes (e.g. "Introduction to Literary Studies") may have a special de-registration deadline. Also, if you registered for a class but then changed your mind, please de-register from this class to allow people from the waiting list to move to the regular participant list!

Information about the beginning and end of each course's registration period is available on UnivIS, together with the course description, the required reading, and the logistic details of the class (time and place).
